We will start high-level and map out your career aspirations; then we’ll focus on identifying what you want to achieve and the steppingstones that will get you there; and lastly, we’ll set and define goals that are realistic for your circumstances. Navigating the Job Search

Searching for a new role can be challenging. This lesson walks you through the basics of job searching including what platforms to consider, how to narrow down your search, and things to consider when deciding whether to apply or not apply. We also cover tips to help plan for your job search, stay on track and find motivation.

Crafting Resumes

In this course you will gain information on how to structure a resume, what type of information is best to include, tips for tweaking resumes to align with specific jobs and much more. We will also spend a bit of time on CVs or Curriculum Vitaes which are more comprehensive than resumes but similar and more common in academia.
